TUTORIAL - MAKE FAIRY WINGS WITH PRE-PRINTED TRANSPARENCY (or ACETATE SHEET)

This is a downloadable PDF file only that becomes available to you immediately after your payment is processed. The tutorial is a digital file and is NOT refundable. Wings or printed clear sheets DO NOT COME with this tutorial.

If you would like to purchase printed wing images on transparency, please refer to my other listing.

This tutorial will guide you on how to make your wings using either printed wings on clear acetate transparency or another kind of paper suitable for wing designs. The FINAL WINGS are supposed to be used for your OOAK (one-of-a-kind) creations and ARE NOT LIFE-SIZE.

I also included some tips on how to attach them to your little fairy doll or animal. Enjoy this tutorial and make lots of wings. Please let me know if you have any questions BEFORE purchasing.

Gentle Purple Fairy - one of a kind art faery polymer clay 6 inches

Sculpted by hand with polymer clay, she would be 6 inches standing.

I used silk gauze tattered fabric, antique sequin lace, mulberry paper to create the fairy's costume. It is also decorated with flowers and beads. Her eyes are green color, they have been handmade by myself. Her beautiful skin color is a custom mix of polymer clays. The hair is of soft golden brown mohair, applied strand by strand. The fairy is wearing a handmade coned hat decorated with flowers and gems. The wings are handmade. They have a fine wire armature inside. They are not removable, but securely attached to the fairy and can be gently bent into the desired position.

Making Fairies, Making Fairies....

It's spring and I feel very productive! I love sunshine and warmth. After Lora (the healing fairy and Silver Blue Wing found their new home, I think it's time to populate the woodlands and fairy fields with new Beautiful Fairies.

Here's my work in progress (well, two of them): one is a fairy sitting on her feet, the other one is more of a wip - she still needs some legs and arms to lean on, as well as other things....

Handmade bright blue eyes are used on some of them and are very luminous. I also love painting my own eyes, which lets me change their position and make the face more as if it is caught in a moment.
Dont forget about baby fairies and cute little mermaids! Soon, soon, soon....
